It’s become renowned as the iconic videogame controller and now older Nintendo fans can let the nostalgia flow with a Nintendo 3DS XL styled as the original NES controller.
It’s due to come out October 10th along with a Super Smash Bros styled 3DS XL (both for $199). Super Smash Bros will be releasing the week before (October 3rd), and the system will also include a pre-installed copy of Super Smash Bros on the device so those who pick up the deal can get straight to the action.
The bundle seems great for those who have been looking to pick up a 3DS, but these releases are coming just after Nintendo has revealed the New Nintendo 3DS that includes an additional joystick in the control scheme. Super Smash Bros is best played with the additional stick, and the game will not be compatible with the Circle Pad Pro peripheral that could be attached to any 3DS console.
