Evolve and Majora’s Mask leading the UK charts

Take Two Interactive found the winning formula with Evolve after a long hiatus from the top of UK Charttrack’s rankings.

The co-op squad multiplayer-focused game gives players a terrifying playground as a small group battles an increasingly powerful monster.

Each player has their own skill sets and abilities depending on whichever class they elect to play as that makes for an exciting game gameplay-wise. However some underlying problems and concerns regarding whether the game creators would opt for a DLC focused experience worried some gamers.

It seems the high-quality experience has trumped those concerns and given it the number one spot in the UK and likely other markets as well.

Another game that is experiencing great success in the UK and other markets as well is the re-make of the classic Nintendo blockbuster — The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask which takes the number two spot on Charttrack.

Fourteen years after its original release, the Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask remake announced for 3DS

One of the best Zelda games ever released, Majora’s Mask, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Spring 2015.

Majora’s Mask is one of the highest rated games on Metacritic and has received virtually universal praise upon it’s release in 2000. The journey as Link is creepy, but still wonderfully Zelda and for those who haven’t gotten a chance to play it before will likely enjoy this opportunity just as much as those who are revisiting the game.

A special edition of the Majora’s Mask 3D featuring a steelbook case, double-sided poster, and a pin-badge will be available in the UK.

Nintendo portable console had been underwhleming throughout its first few years, but with major titles like Smash Bros, Pokemon, and now this Zelda remake broadening the selection of top-notch games, the company has been doing extremely well and is on pace to do even better.
