The Persona franchise will soon make its debut on the new generation. In Sega Sammy’s recent investors report it was revealed that Persona 5 will have a Q4 (“October to December”) release on both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4.
While typically many titles from the company the Japanese company hits Japanese markets first, the release of Persona 5 will come to the U.S. as well within that time frame.
Though the investors report doesn’t specifically confirm a release of Persona, some investigative work from PersonaCentral explains the release is certain — provided there are no delays.
Sega Sammy’s release breakdown shows nine titles releasing in the U.S. by the end of the fiscal year — seven of which are already confirmed.
Developed by Atlus, Persona is one of the most successful franchises ever in Asian markets while also enjoying growing success in western countries as well.
The RPG will likely retail at $59.99 on both PS3 and PS4.
