Based off of Dmitry Glukhovsky novels, the Metro series has been an incredibley gritty and dark FPS that has done an excellent job creating an immersive world for players to experience. The upcoming Metro Redux (Including both Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light) takes it a step further with updated game mechanics and visuals to richen the game.
Those updated game mechanics were actually a part of the Last Light improvements on its predecessor, but now those same features return to 2033 in the Redux.
Their recently released “Uncovered” trailer bolsters the excitement and showcases clips of gameplay to demonstrate the enhancements within the world.
Metro Redux is due for an August 26 release and will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
