Every gamer knows this sound track and theme and it is now returning in the upcoming Halo game from 343 Industries.
Halo 5: Guardians will be going back to an iteration of Marty O’Donnell’s gregorian chant and orchestral music that was first shown to the world in Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001.
After 343i revealed that they’d be reverting back to the classic theme from Halo 1, 2, and 3, it comes as no surprise that this newly leaked OST of Halo 5 Guardians has that iconic orchestral sound and gregorian chant returns but it does have its own feel that will be unique to the new game.
Some Halo fans were upset with the change in style that Halo 4 had — leaving Marty O’Donnell’s now famous music. This new soundtrack has a wide variety of sub-parts including some aspects that are a bit reminiscent of Halo 4, but generally it keeps that same feel that Halo: Combat Evolved first brought in 2001.
343 Industries has not verified the soundtrack as of yet.
Halo 5 Guardians will release on Xbox One October 27, 2015.
