First playable version of Ocarina of Time in 2D revealed

Taking the renowned Zelda game and transfering it to a 2D top-down game like the classic Zelda games has been tried before, but these developers are doing things differently.

Lunar World Games is building the entire game from scratch with no existing game-engine or game making utility like Game Maker.

They have just released their first trailer with a glimpse at some gameplay in action.

It promises to look, feel, and play like a typical top-down Zelda game, but unlike the other attempts at recreating Ocarina of Time in this fashion, Lunar World Games is focusing on making the highest quality product with a careful developmental approach.
