With an Resident Evil 1 HD remake announced as well, Capcom is now unveiling an intriguing teaser trailer for a sequel to Resident Evil Revelations.
As the young girl runs in the black and white trailer, the wrist-bands highlight who is friendly and who has fallen in the zombie-ridden world. It quickly turns from a world surrounded by the healthy living to a chaotic scene of zombie attacks with the living scrambling to stay alive. A very fitting setting for what Capcom always tries to convey in their Resident Evil games.
After being originally developed for the Nintendo 3DS, Revelations quickly gained popularity as it later was ported to the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and WiiU. Now, with home-consoles in mind from the start, the visual aspects of the game will almost certainly receive a massive upgrade.
Originally leaked on Xbox.com almost two weeks ago where a single screenshot and the game’s boxart were revealed early, the surprise of the announcement is non-existant, but the excitement still remains high.
Revelations 2 will be available next year on Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Surprisingly the title will not be coming to the WiiU considering the original Revelations was on the Nintendo console.
