No question one of the oddest video game trailers ever released, the continuation of The Binding Of Isaac is confirmed to be coming in just two months.
Game designer, Edmund McMillen, explains the reasoning behind his tendency to release extremely strange trailers for his games.
“id much rather people say “what the fuck did i just see” and be interested in what it was they actually did see.. then people who dont know the game saying.. that looked ok.
my games dont sell well with video, they need to be played to full appriciate them so i get weird with my trailers because its just more fun.” (McMillen’s personal blog.)
Surely the fans of the 2D top-down horror-adventure game will not even let the oddities phase their excitement for the upgrades that will be coming with Rebirth’s release.
The core of the game remains the same to that of the original Binding of Isaac, but now with a new hand-drawn art style, updated audio, improved visual effects, and hundreds of new designs and re-tuned former designs will make this upcoming November 4th release well worth the $14.99 price tag (available on PC and the Playstation store).
